The Conference
World Travel Market Africa is the continent's leading travel and tourism trade show, confirmed for 7–9 April 2027 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre — bringing together tourism boards, hoteliers, DMCs and travel buyers from across Africa and beyond. For anyone in travel, hospitality or tourism, it's the one show on the calendar where your entire industry is in the same room.

Your Day-by-Day
DAY 1 Tue 6 Apr
Touchdown in Cape Town
Fly via Addis Ababa into Cape Town, landing in the early afternoon with Table Mountain visible from the descent. A private transfer takes you to SunSquare Cape Town City Bowl, right in the heart of the city. Settle in, then a welcome dinner with the Neza Connect group on the hotel's rooftop as the sun sets over the City Bowl.
DAY 2 Wed 7 Apr
WTM Africa Opens
A short walk to the CTICC for WTM Africa's opening day — tourism boards and hoteliers from across the continent on the exhibition floor, buyer-seller meetings running throughout. Spend the day working the show and swapping notes with fellow travel professionals. Evening free to explore the City Bowl's restaurant scene with the group.
DAY 3 Thu 8 Apr
Deeper Into WTM
Day two of the show — more scheduled meetings, panel sessions on the future of African tourism, and plenty of industry gossip over coffee between halls. Tonight, dinner as a group with a view — Cape Town's restaurant scene doing what it does best.
DAY 4 Fri 9 Apr
WTM Africa Closes
The final day of WTM Africa — closing sessions and last meetings before the show wraps. Tonight, the group celebrates with a farewell dinner, toasting a show well attended and a stack of new industry contacts.
DAY 5 Sat 10 Apr
City Tour & Table Mountain
Badges off, into the city you've spent three days talking about. A half-day guided tour takes in Cape Town's highlights before heading up Table Mountain by cable car for one of the world's great views. As the sun sets, the group boards a boat for a sunset cruise along the Atlantic coastline.
DAY 6 Sun 11 Apr
Full Day: Cape Peninsula
A full-day tour down the Cape Peninsula — Chapman's Peak Drive, the penguins at Boulders Beach, and Cape Point where two oceans meet. Dinner tonight is a farewell affair back in the City Bowl — last stories from the show, plans made for the next Neza Connect departure.
DAY 7 Mon 12 Apr
Homeward Bound
Breakfast at leisure, then a transfer to the airport for your flights home via Addis Ababa — landing back with new industry contacts, and firsthand experience of a destination you can now sell with real conviction.
