Day 1 — Arrival: The Island is Ready for Your Family

Wednesday, 26 August

Uganda Airlines lifts you out of Entebbe at 10:00am and lands the whole family on the island by 11:50am. Barely two hours — and suddenly you're somewhere completely magical.

Flights: Entebbe (10:00) → Zanzibar (11:50)

A private transfer delivers you straight to Sea Cliff Beach Resort — your half-board home for the next four nights, right on the beach, with everything a family could need within reach. Check in. Change. Race the kids to the water.

The afternoon belongs to everyone's favourite activity: absolutely nothing that needs a plan.

Day 2 — Stone Town & the Submarine: History and Wonder Underwater

Thursday, 27 August

Your guided Stone Town tour brings the island's extraordinary history to life through its narrow coral-stone alleyways, carved wooden doors, and bustling market squares. Children who thought history was boring will quietly change their minds.

Then the submarine experience — and this is where it gets really exciting. A glass-sided vessel glides beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean, and suddenly the entire underwater world is right there. Coral. Fish in every colour. The ocean from the inside. The children will be pressing their faces against the glass. So, honestly, will the adults.

Day 3 — Resort Day: Everyone's Happy

Friday, 28 August

Today the resort is your playground. All of it.

The little ones head straight for the Kidz Club — a dedicated children's space with a playground, trampoline, arts and crafts, and enough activities to keep them happily occupied for hours. (This is also known as 'time for the parents to sit by the pool in peace.')

Non-motorised water sports on the beach. Beach football and tennis for anyone with energy to burn. The swimming pool for everyone else. And for something a little different — seahorse riding is available at an extra cost, a uniquely Zanzibar experience the children will talk about for years.

Day 4 — Golf, Beach & One Last Island Evening

Saturday, 29 August

A slower, sweeter day — the kind that only happens near the end of a good family holiday.

Perhaps a round of golf with the older children. Perhaps one more snorkel, one more sandcastle, one more long swim in that extraordinary water. Perhaps just breakfast that stretches until noon because nobody wants to rush.

Let the island have its goodbye moment — it's earned it.

Day 5 — Departure: Home, But Happier

Sunday, 30 August

A final breakfast with the sound of the Indian Ocean behind you. One last look at the water — there will be protests from the children, as there should be. Then your transfer carries everyone to the airport and Uganda Airlines brings you home, landing in Entebbe by 7:05pm.

Flights: Zanzibar (17:15) → Entebbe (19:05)

You'll arrive home with sandy bags, full hearts, and approximately four hundred photographs of children who've never looked this happy. Well done, parents. This was a good one.
