Egypt has been holding these stories for thousands of years. Now it's your turn to walk through them.
This is not an ordinary Egypt trip. Yes, there are pyramids. Yes, there is the Nile at night and the Red Sea in the morning. But at the heart of this journey is something rarer — a passage through some of the most significant spiritual geography on earth. The mountain Moses climbed. The springs that appeared from rock. The burning bush, still tended. The place where the Ten Commandments were received.
Eight days to move through it all. Unhurried. Thoughtfully guided. With every comfort arranged.
Saturday, 14 November
EgyptAir carries you out of Entebbe at 4:15am and into Cairo by 8:35am — an early arrival that gives you the full day to settle in.
Flights: Entebbe (04:15) → Cairo (08:35)
Your guide meets you at the airport and transfers you comfortably to Golden Tulip Hotel Cairo — a well-appointed four-star property where lunch awaits on arrival. Rest, refresh, and let Cairo begin to reveal itself at the edges.
Then the evening belongs to the Nile. A dinner cruise on one of the world's most ancient rivers — the city drifting past as you dine, live music in the warm night air, and the sense that you have arrived somewhere truly significant. Cairo at night, from the water, is a city unlike any other.
Sunday, 15 November
Today you stand before some of the greatest achievements in human history. Take your time with them.
The morning begins at the Egyptian Museum — home to over 120,000 artefacts spanning more than 5,000 years of civilisation. Tutankhamun's treasures. Ancient jewellery, statues and scrolls. Your guide moves you through it at a pace that allows genuine wonder, not mere ticking of boxes.
Then, Giza. The Pyramids need no introduction — but standing before them is always, without exception, different from any photograph. Vast. Precise. Inexplicable. Built 4,500 years ago and still standing without apology. The Great Sphinx watches from the sand as it has for millennia, and in the afternoon light, both feel timeless in the truest sense of the word.
Monday, 16 November
An early breakfast, then a journey that is itself an experience.
Your coach crosses the Suez Canal — the famous waterway that separates the African and Asian continents — and heads into the Sinai Peninsula. Along the route, you stop at the Springs of Moses, where the Bible records that Moses struck the rock and twelve springs appeared for the thirsty Israelites. The remnants of those springs are still visible. A community of Bedouins has lived beside them for generations, unchanged by the centuries passing around them.
By late afternoon you arrive at Morganland Holy Valley Hotel in Saint Catherine — at the foot of Mount Sinai — and check in for the night.
As darkness falls, those who wish may begin the ascent of Mount Sinai for the sunrise — a climb of approximately three hours, guided carefully, at your own pace. The mountain is quiet at night. The stars, at this altitude, are extraordinary.
Tuesday, 17 November
Return from the mountain in the morning, refreshed and humbled. Breakfast and time to rest before the day continues.
The Greek Orthodox Monastery of Saint Catherine — one of the oldest continuously inhabited Christian monasteries in the world, built around the site of the Burning Bush, which according to scripture still grows within its walls. The well where Moses met Zipporah is here too, preserved and tended. Nearby, the plain where the Israelites camped while Moses received the Ten Commandments above.
These are not reconstructions. They are the places themselves.
By early afternoon, a two-hour transfer brings you to Sharm El Sheikh, where Xperience St. George Resort — your all-inclusive home for the next three nights — receives you with everything you need.
Wednesday, 18 November
After the solemnity of the mountain, Sharm offers a different kind of wonder entirely — the jewel-bright waters of the Red Sea and a city that knows how to enjoy itself.
Your guided city tour moves through Sharm's most beautiful spots, ending at Soho Square — a vibrant open-air dining and entertainment destination where the evening has a way of stretching pleasantly beyond plan.
The submarine excursion takes you beneath the surface of the Red Sea — coral formations in colours that shouldn't exist, a world so serene and beautiful it almost seems impossible. All of it from the comfort of a glass-sided vessel, at exactly your pace.
Thursday, 19 November
The Sinai desert has its own kind of beauty — vast, ancient, and deeply still.
Your desert safari takes you out into open terrain as the afternoon light turns the sand gold. Quad bikes are available for those who wish to feel the exhilaration of open desert. And for those who prefer simply to take in the landscape from a 4x4, that is equally wonderful.
As the sun goes down over the desert, you return to the resort. The Red Sea is waiting. The evening is yours.
Friday, 20 November
Breakfast at the resort, then your domestic flight carries you back to Cairo.
Check into your Cairo hotel and spend this final evening as you wish. The Egypt Mall and the ancient Khan el-Khalili market — where the souks have been trading since the 14th century — offer two very different kinds of Cairo to carry home with you. Spices, papyrus, perfume, gold. The city at its most alive.
Saturday, 21 November
A final breakfast. A last look at Cairo's extraordinary skyline. Then your transfer takes you to Cairo International Airport and EgyptAir carries you home — arriving back in Entebbe in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Flights: Cairo (21:55) → Entebbe (05:55)
You will arrive home carrying something that cannot be photographed — the particular quiet that comes from walking through places where the most important human stories were lived. It stays with you.
